Nootropic effect – improves higher cerebral functions, processes of learning and memory, concentration of attention and tolerance to different stresses. Neuroprotective effect – protects neurons against different endogenous neurotoxic factors (glutamate, calcium ions and free radicals) and reduces toxic impact of psychotropic agents. Antioxidant effect – inhibits peroxidation of lipids in neurons, increases survival of neurons under oxidative stress and hypoxia. Tissue-specific effect – activates metabolism of neurons of central and peripheral nervous system, reparative processes, promotes stimulation of cortical function and general improvement of nervous system state. ContraindicationsPregnancy and lactationThis medical product is contraindicated to pregnant women (due to lack of clinical trial results). If administration during lactation is required, it is necessary to stop breast feeding (due to lack of clinical trial results) Administration and dosagesFor intramuscular injections. Before injection dissolve content of vial in 1–2 ml of 0.5 % procain (novocain ) solution, or water for injection or 0.9 % sodium chloride solution and inject once daily: For adults - 10 mg per day, during 10 days; for children weighing less than 20 kg – 0.5 mg/kg, over 20 kg – 10 mg per day, during 10 days.
